En la sede del IPET Nº 87 “Robertina Moyano de Sastre” se llevó a cabo una reunión por el tema seguridad de la que participaron autoridades y vecinos del Centro Vecinal de Barrio Jardín, el Intendente, Dr. Carlos Briner, funcionarios municipales y jefes de la Unidad Regional Departamental Unión de Policía, Comisarios Javier Romero y Gabriel Soccol.
El jefe municipal sostuvo que se trató de otro encuentro muy interesante con los vecinos, donde la gente se explayó con total tranquilidad en un contacto muy ameno, especialmente en los asuntos relacionados con la seguridad. “Tomamos debida nota y desde el municipio les dimos las explicaciones sobre lo que se hizo en el barrio y lo proyectado para facilitarle el trabajo a los uniformados. Precisamente la Policía tiene una muy buena planificación para el sector”, añadió.
Anticipó que junto con las autoridades del Hospital Regional se está trabajando en el cerrado perimetral del nosocomio. “Esto contribuirá a la seguridad interna y externa de la institución, porque evitará que desconocidos ingresen y salgan de ese centro de salud sin pasar por el lugar tradicional para ello”, destacó.
Calificó a la reunión con los vecinos como “muy positiva” y sostuvo que el informe policial se caracterizó por su minuciosidad y sinceridad.
Comprometió el esfuerzo de la Municipalidad para colocar más cámaras de seguridad y avanzar en las gestiones con la Provincia para incorporar al menos dos móviles más para afectar al cuidado de los bienes de los vecinos y de la comunidad.
Los vecinos, por su parte, se retiraron conformes por los alcances del encuentro y acordaron reunirse entre ellos para elevar un proyecto sobre seguridad a las autoridades municipales y policiales.
